I knew it, I knew it! Just when life feels so good, poopla rains out of the sky in big lumps. The sky really does fall. As the moon goes through phases of light and darkness, so there is the yin and yang of joy and sorrow.
Let’s just say I’ve been knocked off my surf board. The good news is I’m breathing and in one piece. The bad news is I’m in the water trying to get back on the board, and another wave is headed my way.
Therein is the reason I revel and immerse myself in the hallelujah moments. In the universal cycle of things, poopla is lurking nearby. Poopla loves to balance things out. Poopla sticks pins deep into the heart of the Happy doll.
My anthem for today is the chorus (from Chumbawamba):
Sorry to hear you’ve been knocked into the water. But I suspect you are a strong swimmer, and will reach dry land soon, or at least, I hope you will!
Thank you, darling girl. The beach is in sight.
I am very sorry to hear this Fay. You’re such a strong swimmer, you’ll be on that board gain, cutting through the waves. My ear is here if you need it.
xoxo
I have a surprise for you coming up soon. Watch for Canberra in the post title.
I’m excited already.
I feel bad that you got knocked in the drink, but it’s a well known fact that surfing while it’s raining poopla is NOT advisable.
Hope thing get better soon =]
You’re right. My T-shirt and shorts have these ugly brown spots on them. Yuuuuck. And the board surface is slippery. Double yuuuuck.
