Another Writing Seminar in Western Maryland

A couple of days ago, I mentioned the writing conference at Deep Creek Lake presenting author Lauren Carr. Now Hagerstown Community College in historic Washington County, Maryland is presenting a weekend seminar as well. See below.

Are you writing a novel? Has the increase and ease of publishing tempted you to finally write that story you’ve been thinking of for years? It takes more than words on the page to make a story, and the building blocks of excellence are available at the Nora Roberts Writing Institute at Hagerstown Community College! Internationally known local author, Nora Roberts, has lent her name to a weekend retreat which can give you the solid foundation upon which to build a writing career. From fundamentals of setting up the story and plot to good research basics, this two-day forum will get you started. Whether you want to write a fictionalized memoir, or a mystery series, there’s something for every beginning and aspiring writer at the Nora Roberts Writing Institute.
