Sometimes life doesn’t go as planned. We’ve all experienced detours. Recently I’ve had a few, including a surgery with complications. That’s the downside.
The “up” side is a more fun. I had a bit part in an historical program at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. If you wish to watch my “acting” debut, cue the video to about the 4:12 mark. May it put a smile on your face.
Lauren Carr has released a new book. I’ve lost count of how many titles she has written–and released–this year. At least four, maybe five.
How does she do it? She is disciplined when it comes to writing. I laughingly say “she is a machine,” but there is a hint of truth in that. Lauren knows her priorities and she sticks to them. Her priority is writing.
I spoke with her today and learned that she has two more books underway. Not one, but TWO! Mark my word; before January 2014 ends, I bet you she will release another book.
She would tell you, discipline and productivity are key traits of the commercially successful author. What I admire most about Lauren is she walks the talk. The book trailer for her latest release follows:
