Quote July 2, 2012

Please don’t think I have the biggest ego in the world because I quote myself. There’s a reason.

On June 28, I read Asklotta’s post about the hurt we do to ourselves when we cling to a thing — like a wrong someone did to us — instead of releasing it. I made a comment of appreciation on her post. Afterwards, I liked what I wrote and wanted to share it here. I hope the metaphor benefits you as Asklotta’s post benefitted me.

Oh that I, with a word, could let go of my broken arrows instead of keeping them in my quiver.
